Parkour / Draft

Parkour block 1000 × 1000 × 500

A square low obstacle made from 18 mm plywood on a 3 × 3 grid of 50 × 50 mm timber, with a pair of two-hand carry slots on the front and back walls.

Interactive 3D model

The 1000 × 1000 × 500 block uses whole panels: top and bottom 1000 × 1000 mm, sides 1000 × 464 mm, ends 964 × 464 mm. A uniform 3 × 3 grid with nine posts and no extra bracing; the front and back walls each have two 130 × 45 mm slots for both hands, centred 300 and 700 mm from the end (400 mm between the hands), with the middle post between them. Top and bottom are identical, so the block can be flipped. Estimated mass about 63 kg; the parts fit on two 1525 × 1525 mm sheets.

The 2.5 mm pilot bores and the 130 × 45 mm carry slots are concepts, not certified lifting points. The cube's estimated mass is 221 kg: do not plan a four-person manual lift without a risk assessment and handle testing. Engineering analysis and full-scale testing are needed before children use these obstacles; cover the slots during use to prevent entrapment.
